Vitra East River Lounge Chair in Blue

Designed by Hella Jongerius for Vitra in 2014, the East River Lounge Chair combines a distinctive sculptural form with an expressive mix of materials and colors. This blue version features coordinated textile upholstery with contrasting leather armrest covers, paired with a natural oak base and slender steel cross braces.

The generously padded seat extends into the backrest to provide comfortable lumbar support, while the leather armrests add durability in areas subject to frequent wear. Measuring approximately 28.25 inches wide, 33.5 inches deep, and 29.25 inches high, with a seat height of approximately 15.75 inches, the East River Chair offers a compact yet inviting lounge profile suited to residential, office, or hospitality interiors.
